Bob is a designer and creator of wooden jewelry.  Building on years of experience as a woodworking and wood carving hobbyist, he has developed a number of jewelry designs using domestic and exotic hardwoods, embellished with metal, gemstones and beads.

Wooden jewelry has a long and storied history in many different cultures.  By combining wood with other jewelry elements, Bob is able to create a unique look not found in more traditional jewelry, using different techniques, including lamination, pyrography  and wood carving to show the natural beauty of the wood.  Finished pieces are sealed with Danish Oil, then polished and buffed with jeweler’s compounds, before being given a final shine with carnuba wax.  Some items have a hard lacquer finish.

Bob is a member of the National Wood Carvers Association.

Bob is now experimenting with a line of metal jewelry to add to his wood creations, and we hope to add his new work to our website in the future.

Lynn Gill has been a gourd crafter for more than 10 years, using pyrography (an artistic form of wood burning) and various finishes to add an artistic touch to an ordinary gourd.

Gourds are a member of the squash family and come in many different sizes and shapes.  They are dried before use and can be decorated or left plain.  Gourds have been used as utensils and decorative items in many different cultures around the world.

Lynn uses mini jigsaws to cut gourds, as well as pyrography and power carving to emboss designs on the gourd.  She uses acrylic paints, leather dyes and inks to decorate the gourd, and finishes with waxes and varnishes.  She also uses an assortment of items including beads, fiber and polymer clay to decorate the gourd.

Lynn is a member of the American Gourd Society and the Georgia Gourd Society.
